Smart Heating is the term Samsung uses to describe it's air source heat pump technology. Find out how it can save you money.
What is Smart Heating
Air Source Heat Pumps use electricity to create heat using a system very similar to that of a domestic refrigerator, when a fridge is getting cold inside, you can feel warmth being generated at the back. Samsung's EHS Smart Heating system reverses this cycle giving the cold to outside and generating warmth inside which is then transferred to water to travel round radiators or underfloor heating and to provide hot water for storage, for washing etc.
Why Change To Smart Heating?
Samsung's EHS is one of the most energy efficient ways in which you can heat your home, by harnessing natural warmth from outside (even on cold days) the system can create heat up to 4 times more efficiently than other forms of heating such as Gas, Oil or electric storage heaters. The process is so efficient that it has been recognised by the UK government as a way to reduce carbon emissions and fuel bills and to persuade people to change they have introduced a new incentive scheme called the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) which will pay you a lump sum each year for 7 years. To get an idea of how much you could save why not use our Quick Online Calculator to see how much you can save and how much your RHI payment will be.
